RICHARD A. FRANK, MD
I am an adult and child psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in practice for over thirty years. I serve as a Training Analyst and Director Emeritus at the Wisconsin Psychoanalytic Institute and as an Associate Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where I teach the fundamentals of adult and child psychotherapy. I’ve written about and lectured on a wide range of topics for lay and professional audiences.
The focus of my practice is psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families. When necessary I prescribe medication for my psychotherapy patients, which affords them an opportunity to have one clinician provide both their biological and psychological treatment.
On this website you can learn more about my training, professional interests and philosophy of treatment. I hope you can get a sense of who I am and what it might be like to work with me.
